This science fiction time-travel novel is set in deep-future, so much so that it feels like a fantasy novel to me.
The story begins one day when Red is basking in her victory, only to find an unexpected correspondence from an enemy agent, Blue.
This is How You Lose the Time War has a unique style, shifting back and forth between two perspectives (Red and Blue) and their letters to each other. We jump across centuries and multiverse timelines as their bond grows, complicating their motivations as they, supposedly, are still trying to win this war.
Content:
Sexual: PG-13. Some sexual undertones.
Violence: PG-13. Lots of violence and killing, but it’s not gory and it is plot relevant.
Language: I don’t remember any major swear words.
